Caregiver Service For People Who Live Alone:   CheckOnMe.org
...and the basic service is free.

If you or a special person in your life lives alone, or if you provide care to a person with special needs, this service may help assure that someone checks on you when you are incapacitated. Rather than rely on the injured or unconscious person to initiate the request for help, this automated system is triggered if the person does not respond when the service "checks" on him or her.

And best of all, this basic service is FREE. Extended services, such as voice messaging by telephone or long-distance fax, may incur some costs, but it is hoped that these services may also be provided free to eligible persons in need through our CheckOnMe.org sponsor network.

We are now beta testing this new service. If you would like to help by becoming a test member, please contact us.

CheckOnMe.org is interested in any opportunity to promote this free service at events and group gatherings. By promoting this service before it goes live, we can continue to gather requirements to fine-tune the application design and make it even more valuable to a greater user base. Please contact us and let us know what opportunities you have for us to put up a display and hand out brochures about this service.
